Objective
The position of captain onboard a corporate or private yacht 90’-112’ utilizing my 25 years of experience and considerable knowledge of the marine industry.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in captaining and managing large motor/sail yachts for corporate and private use Corporate events and Charters.
- Licensed for and experienced in delivering yachts throughout the West Coast and Pacific. Also knowledgeable about the marine charter business.
- Experienced in budgeting, cost control and materials management with regard to the operation of private/charter yachts.
- Knowledgeable about the marine repair and refurbishment industry. Able to utilize established relationships to secure reliable services, as necessary. Established relationships up and down the coast.
- Discriminating in the review and selection of quality marine hardware for the routine maintenance of vessels.
- Diplomatic in the negotiation of bids/contracts and selection of sub-contractors for maintenance and repair work.
- Personal and congenial in communicating with owners and guests, and hosting business associates.
